My name is Valery Nechaev. I was born in 1952.
I served 25 years in armed forces of USSR and Russia. I never went to
doctors, as I was always healthy and energetic.
For the last 12 years I have been in retirement, and a year ago I was diagnosed with a
disease, which I fight up to now, because I have a strong desire to recover and be able
to work and be useful for my family and my country. I have chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
Treatment of this disease caused another to appear and it requires expensive medications.
I developed aspergillosis of lungs and was prescribed Vfend. I am unable to afford it and so
I am asking for help.
I never forget of the help I receive and once I get well, I will work
twice as hard to repay my debts.

Update as of December 18, 2010.
Valery is now at home. The fever he had for several weeks is gone.
On January 5th he will start another cycle of chemotherapy,
followed by control CT scan. He still needs Vfend.
Update as of December 24, 2010.
Valery feels better due to Vfend. The temperature is normal,
and cough is getting better. In the beginning of January he
would undergo a planned 9th maintenance chemotherapy
course and lung CT scan.

Valery completed a course of maintenance therapy. Afterwards, he
had fever and strong cough, but test results point to improvement.
He feels rather well. Vfend is still needed.
