Hello, friends!
My husband Vaan Muradyan is seriously ill. He suffers from lung cancer
that metastasized. Our family of four has two children: oldest is 5
years old, and his brother is 18 months old.
My husband worked as a subway policeman, but then was forced to look
for a better paying job and worked the last few years in construction.
We have to rent an apartment, as a room in a dormitory where my husband
and children are registered is not considered habitable. We cannot get
a permission to move in, because too many people are registered for
such a small space. We have applied to the district administration
but got no response so far.
My husband was providing for our family, but he has been sick since
November and cannot work. The doctors could not diagnose him for a long
time, while the tumor was visibly growing. Vaan underwent six cycles of
chemotherapy and is now continuing treatment. I cannot lose him, my
sons and I will not survive without him!
Our family’s financial situation is very difficult. Our friends and
relatives were helping at first, but now we have very little money left.
I cannot work because my husband is in a serious condition and suffers
from pain, and I have two young children. Besides, since I am not a
Russian citizen, I can only have temporary jobs from time to time.
We need help with paying for CT scan (close to 10,000 rubles),
supporting medications (we buy anti-nausea drugs ourselves), and
paying apartment rent (10,000 rubles a month). We will also be very
grateful for food and children’s clothes.
