Hello!
My name is Tatiana Vladimirovna, I am 46 years old. I learned about my disease by accident. I started feeling more and more unwell. So I went to see a doctor. It turned out that I have a blood disease that progresses quickly. I felt scared.
Only bone marrow transplantation can help me. I have no siblings, so I would need to find an unrelated donor. It costs a lot of money. I understand that little children are helped first – and this is how it should be. But maybe someone will want to help me too, and not only for my own sake, but also for my 9-year-old daughter.

Update as of February 3, 2010. Tatiana needs to undergo transplantation, but at first she needs to get therapy for aspergillosis with intravenous Vfend (300 mg twice a day). For a week, Tatiana's family was purchasing the drug themselves, but they do not have any more money. Tatiana is in a serious condition and suffers from bad cough.
She is undergoing consultations at Gorbacheva Hematology and Transplantology Institute and Pulmonology Research Institute at State Medical University. Tatiana urgently needs Vfend - please help!

Update as of February 20, 2010. Tatiana was admitted to the Research Institute of Phthisiopulmonology in Ligovsky Prospect. The doctors had to perform a surgery with regard to loci of aspergillosis in her lungs due to the danger of lung bleeding. By now Tatiana has already been transferred to a regular ward. She will need intravenous Vfend for a long time. Please help us buy it!

Update as of March 3, 2010. Tatiana is recovering after surgery. Her condition improved somewhat. Unfortunately, she has pharyngitis and has difficulty speaking, but her cough has gotten better. Tatiana is now at the clinic. Based on test results, her blood counts are good and bone marrow is normal. The doctors suspect zygomycosis and Tatiana is now undergoing tests. If it is confirmed, she will be prescribed Noxafil.
The family's financial situation is still very difficult and they cannot afford Noxafil.

Update as of March 14, 2010. Tatiana recovered after surgery and she is monitored as an outpatient at BMT clinic. She receives Fungizone IV and Noxafil. Please help Tatiana with buying Noxafil, as a bottle of this drug that lasts 6 days costs 70,000 rubles.

Update as of March 26, 2010. Tatiana was hospitalized at BMT clinic. She started pre-transplantation chemotherapy course. Tatiana still needs Noxafil.

Update as of April 30, 2010. It has been a month since transplantation. Tatiana recovered and was transferred to outpatient monitoring. She still has a problem with fungal infection in her lungs and needs Noxafil therapy. Tatiana asked us to thank everyone who is helping her get well.

Update as of May 19, 2010. Tatiana's condition worsened dramatically due to activation of cytomegalovirus. She is now in intensive care unit on artificial lung ventilation. Her condition is very serious, since her lungs are damaged by zygomycosis and she had one lung lobe removed. She urgently needs Cymevene.
