Hello!
Please help me with treatment of my 6-year-old son, Alexander Agapitov. He was
diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, relapse.
Sasha got sick in April 2006. He did not have any complications during treatment.
In April 2008 he completed chemotherapy. However, after Sasha had a cold in August
2009, the doctors noted changes in his blood test results. Once again we came to
Arkhangelsk Children's hospital. Sasha was tested and diagnosed with relapse
of leukemia. We are currently undergoing treatment. It is not as easy as the
first time, but without serious complications.
Sasha needs bone marrow transplantation from an unrelated donor, but we have
no money for activation of the donor (15,000 euros plus 2,500 euros for delivery
of transplant from European collection center to St. Petersburg).
My son is a very active kid. He is the star of the show at his preschool. He
loves to dance, sing and recite rhymes. He really likes to perform and wants
to learn to play a guitar. When he grows up, he wants to be a policeman.
Please help us with finding money for the activation of the bone marrow donor.

Update as of February 20, 2010.
We are very grateful to the Rossiisky Fond Pomoschi fund for offering to
raise 10,000 euros needed for donor cell harvesting as well as the money
needed to buy drugs required for the transplantation. We must urgently
raise 5,000 euros for the donor search and another 2,500 for the transplant
delivery.
Update as of March 12, 2010.
On March 11, Theater Center on Kolomenskaya
held Ballet Night and donated proceeds to benefit three of our patients:
Sasha, Dasha Shamanskaya and
Igor Verbitsky.
The ticket sales generated
7,500 euros for the donor search and delivery of transplants for
Sasha, with the money raised by Russian Help Fund we no
longer need to raise more money for Sasha.
We are sincerely grateful to
Theater Center on Kolomenskaya and Irina Moiseevna personally, as
well as ballet soloists from Mariinsky and Mikhailovksy theaters:
Denis and Anastasia Matvienko, Irma Nioradze, Irina Perren, Marat Shemiunov,
Maxim Zyuzin, Aleksey Timofeev, Elena Evseeva, Alexander Sergeev and Irina
Kosheleva, thanks to whom this event was made possible.
