Good day! My son, Riyaz Bulyakanov, is 21 years old. We live in Sibai city (Bashkortostan). My son got sick 1.5 years ago. In January 2008 all his blood counts plummeted, and his doctors suspected sepsis and acute leukemia.
In February 2008 the diagnosis was finally established: severe aplastic anemia. In March and April of 2008 he received a course of treatment at Hematology and Transfusiology Research Institute in St.Petersburg. Riyaz was in a very serious condition, but thanks to his wonderful doctors, he recovered. After a course of therapy we returned home, but, unfortunately, Riyaz had not entered remission.
Every 3 weeks my son needed blood transfusions. Despite being ill, in May 2008 he graduated from a training school as a programmer, thanks to support of his teachers and fellow students.
Riyaz is a very social, lively and curious boy. He has many friends who support him emotionally and financially in difficult times, and they still remember him now. After a year, we returned to St. Petersburg for treatment - this time for bone marrow transplantation. Riyaz's sister became his donor.
Now after the successful bone marrow transplantation my son was discharged from R.Gorbacheva clinic for outpatient monitoring. We need help with paying for apartment rent and current medications, in particular, for Vfend, expensive antifungal drug. We also need help of St. Petersburg's residents who could donate blood for Riyaz.

Respectfully,
Ramilya Bulyakanova,
Riyaz's mother
