My name is Natalia Temnikova. I am 28. I was born in St. Petersburg. Since childhood, I was active in sports and
had advanced in artistic gymnastics and in sports aerobics.
The summer after I graduated from high school, my mother died. Despite difficulties I was facing, I enrolled in Technology
University in St. Petersburg. During my student years, my father married another woman.
After I graduated in 2001, I married an army officer, and we were sent to live in Samara. The same year, in November, I gave
birth to my son. Our life was very difficult. My husband was traveling a lot, and his last trip that lasted 6 months was to
Chechnya. All that time, I was essentially bringing up our son by myself. My husband was making very little money then.
In 2004 I started to get very sick, and in 2005 I was diagnosed with acute myeloblastic leukemia. I took my son and went back
to St. Petersburg, where I was admitted for treatment at the hospital No. 31. From the time I went home to St. Petersburg,
my relationship with my husband soured. By now, I've spent a year on treatment. For the last year, my husband had supported
neither me, nor our son. My father too does not help me in any way due to the influence of his wife.
I have already received three intensive chemotherapies and four supporting chemotherapies. My doctors are recommending
typing of my younger sister to determine whether she could be a matching donor for the bone marrow transplant.
This test costs 30,000 rubles. I do not have this much money. Please help me collect this amount.
