Hello!
We live in Otradnoe city in Kirovsky district in Leningradsky region.
Our daughter Marina was born on May 20, 2011. She was healthy and big
(she weighed 4040 gm and was 52 cm tall). The first month of her life,
everything was well: like babies supposed to, she was growing and gaining weight.
And then it started… Streptodermia (streptococcal skin infection), Kaposi
eczema (eczema complicated by herpes), atopic dermatitis, endless colds.
Our little girl was hospitalized twice, and the third time she was at the
hospital due to high fever, enflamed lymph nodes and high leukocyte count.
She had complete blood count and diagnosed with a terrifying diagnosis:
severe combined immune deficiency (a rare and the worst type of primary
immunodeficiency), Omenn syndrome.
Without treatment, this disease will lead to child's death.
And the only effective treatment is bone marrow transplantation.
Marina does not have siblings, and her only chance for cure is a
search for a donor at the international registry.
This process costs 15,000 euros, and in addition 2500 euros are
required to cover delivery of transplant to St. Petersburg.
We have no means to raise this much money.
Please help us save our little daughter! Wishing everyone to stay healthy.
Update as of January 8, 2012.
Marina is being monitored at Pediatric Academy in St. Petersburg.
Twice a month she receives immunoglobulins, and she feels relatively well.
Update as of February 28, 2012.
A donor search for Marina was paid for in full.
We are enormously grateful to all the donors!
Update as of March 17, 2012.

Update as of April 10, 2012.
Marina was hospitalized at R. Gorbacheva Institute for unrelated transplantation.
Update as of April 25, 2012.
Marina underwent bone marrow transplantation on April 20.
The girl is now in cytopenia, she has developed mucositis.
