Marina died on July 6, 2010

Hello, My daughter Marina can be saved my human kindness and support. She is 24 years old. Marina was born and lives at the end of earth – in Kamchatka. She graduated from college and in summer 2008 found a job as an administrator at a service center. In October 2008 she got married, and in December of the same year – got sick. In February 2009 she was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
This was the first hit. Kamchatka lacks facilities or qualified specialists for treatment of leukemia. Marina underwent two courses of chemotherapy at a clinic in Moscow. She achieved remission and was planned for transplant of her own stem cells… Then in November 2009 she was found to have hepatitis infection. This was the second hit.
We went for help to R. Gorbacheva clinic with the whole Marina's "bouquet" of diseases. And they took her in!
On March 9, 2010 Marina stoically tolerated the 17-hour long flight and was hospitalized at Botkin hospital of Infectious Diseases. In a month she will be transferred to R. Gorbacheva clinic for transplantation of bone marrow from an unrelated donor. The doctors will fight for her recovery.
Saving Marina will require significant expenses. Our family had to ask you for help. Marina now needs chemotherapy drugs and supporting medications.
Please help! Give Marina a chance to live!

Respectfully,
Natalia Uliyankina (Marina's mom)
