My name is Galima, I am 33 years old. I am married and have a daughter. I need your help to buy the expensive Vfend which I need for a lengthy treatment course.
In March 2009 I got sick with acute myeloblastic leukemia. I was administered 3 chemotherapy courses. In December 2009 I a homogeneous stem cell transplantation was performed at the Raisa Gorbacheva Institute of Children's Hematology and Transplantology. Due to chemotherapy I acquired lung mycosis which was treated with Noxafil and Vfend since other drugs proved to be ineffective. Up till August 2010 I was treated at the Pavlov State Medical University of St. Petersburg where I stayed at the hematology unit due to GVH reaction (graft versus host).
Since July I'd been having edema, and I was admitted to the nephrology unit of the State Medical University of St. Petersburg for examination and treatment.
After a lengthy examination I was diagnosed with glomerulonephritis which has to be treated by immunosuppression. The doctors fear that such a treatment course may worsen my lung mycosis and do not start with the treatment until I begin taking Vfend.
I have no money for this drug and it is absolutely necessary that I buy it, which is why I have to ask for your help. If you can help me, please do!

Medical report

Update as of June 11, 2011. Galima was discharged from the hospital and she is being monitored as an outpatient. All her test results and blood pressure are normal and she feels well. She still takes Vfend.

Update as of August 11, 2011. Galima feels rather well. The swelling is gone, but her blood pressure is unstable again. She is monitored as an outpatient. In early September she will go for examination by a hematologist, and a sterile puncture is scheduled for October. She still needs Vfend.

Update as of February 23, 2012. Galima is feeling fine, follow-up puncture testified to a remission. Since Galima has glomerulonephritis she is monitored at the Leningrad Regional Clinical Hospital. Vfend has been canceled.
