Hello!
My name is Elena Vladimirovna Kozis. I applied to AdVita Fund for help due to a severe illness. I am 58. In November 2009 I was sent to hospital no. 31 and diagnosed with acute myelodysplastic syndrome.
At present I am being treated at Pavlov St. Petersburg State Medical University. The only chance for me to overcome my disease is bone marrow transplantation from unrelated donor. Donor search costs 15,000 euros and transplant delivery to St. Petersburg requires 2,500 euros. We cannot raise this much money by ourselves. My husband and I are working retirees. We have a son, who suffers from diabetes and needs help himself. I really hope for help from people with kind hearts.
