Hello!
My name is Elena Aleksandrovna. In March of this year, my 23-year-old son Dmitry got seriously sick. The diagnosis – acute leukemia, non-differentiated type – destroyed all his plans in a day. Dima graduated from law school and dreamt of working as a lawyer, but ended up in a hospital. My son requires urgent bone marrow transplantation.
All the money our family had (5,000 euros) I sent to the International bone marrow donor registry. I have no more money and no opportunity to earn it (I work as a checkpoint employee at a security firm).
We need to transfer 10,000 euros more to the International registry, and 2,500 euros for delivery of transplant to St. Petersburg.
Please help us!

Update as of December 8, 2009. We are sincerely grateful to Happy World fund that paid off Dima's debt to the registry. Dima's transplantation is scheduled for December 23. His family raised the money for delivery of transplant.

Update as of January 19, 2010. Transplantation took place on schedule. Dmitry is now in cytopenia. He has not been able to eat for a month, has very low protein and severe swelling. Dmitry needs large quantities of Albumin.

Update as of January 25, 2010. Dima is at the intensive care unit due to severe intestinal GVHD.

Update as of February 3, 2010. Dmitry is still in intensive care, he's on ALV. His condition is extremely grave, he has bad edema and a grave intestinal GVH reaction. He constantly needs Albumin – 2 bottles (100 ml) a day. One bottle costs around 2,500 roubles.
