Hello!
My name is Aleksei Leonidovich Krinichenko, I am 32 years old. I have been
sick with myeloblastic leukemia M2 for 3.5 years now. I had been undergoing
treatment in the Stavropolsky Krai and in Barnaul, Altaisky Krai. All this
time I've had disability group II, and now it is group I.
I have never asked for help before - my family have been doing all they could
to pay for everything ourselves. In the times when the disease retreated I worked
at my bee yard to help my family in every way I could. By now all our meager
funds have been used up. Everything that we could sell has been sold. My mother
who has worked as a teacher for 25 years had to quit her job to be able to tend
to me. Then she started to work as a nursing aid at the clinic where I was undergoing
treatment, to be with me all the time. Her salary is 4,500 roubles. My father
is unemployed at present, and my wife and I have a 4 year old daughter Arina.
We don't have a flat of our own and have to rent it. My wife's salary is 6,000
roubles, and the rent is 5,000.
Please help us pay for the further treatment! I will recover and do lots of
good to the society, and I will give value to every rouble spent on my treatment.
I am a motorcar mechanic and I have finished school with honors. I can assemble
a car with my eyes closed. I had professional training in Germany for 8 months
and can speak German. I have creative potential too. I have served in the Russian
army as a senior sergeant.
Never been sick with anything... and then all of a sudden this trouble came.
The doctors say that only a bone marrow transplantation can save me. I have had
offers from the clinics of Germany and Israel. But their invoices we unaffordable
for us, especially taking into account the fact that rehabilitation had better
take place at the same clinic where the bone marrow was transplanted. That is
why we came to the Raisa Gorbacheva Institute of Children's Hematology and
Transplantology. My sister cannot be my donor.
So we are now searching for a non-relative donor in the International Registry.
The search costs 15,000 euros, and the transplant delivery 2,500. As of today
5,000 donors have been found for me. That's why the doctors believe they could
perform the surgery in some 1.5-2 months, while I am still in a persistent
remission. My family managed to raise 5,000 euros and make the initial payment.
Wr have no more money.
Please help me recover!
I so want to take my daughter to school myself, to keep my family, to be my
parents' support as they get older, for I am the last man in our family.
Update as of August 2, 2010.
Alesha's friends and relatives were able to raise and transfer 5,000
euros to Morsch registry. The donor search was initiated. Alesha was sent
home to continue chemotherapy. We will now wait for the donor to be found.

Update as of October 17, 2010.
Unfortunately, Aleksei had a relapse. He is planned to undergo an anti-relapse
cycle of chemotherapy followed by transplantation. A donor for Aleksei was found,
and he urgently needs to raise 10,000 euros for donor activation. He also needs intravenous Vfend.
Update as of November 14, 2010.
Alexei underwent a cycle of chemotherapy at a hospital in Barnaul.
He is now in cytopenia, in a stable condition. Alexei still
needs Vfend.
