Anton died on August 12, 2010

|
Dear friends,
My name is Anton Koltunov. I am 19 and live in Kursk. I am sick with acute
lymphoblastic leukemia. I first fell ill when I was 14 years old, in 2004.
The treatment was successful. But the disease returned five years later.
Since July 2009 I have been on treatment in Botkin hospital in Moscow. I was
told that I need bone marrow transplant. My sister did not match as a donor.
Still, I kept my hopes for recovery high and, finally, a donor was found at
the international registry. The donor search was paid for by Grant Life
fund – thank you very much! Transplantation is scheduled for February 5th at
R. Gorbacheva Pediatric Hematology and Transplantology Institute in St. Petersburg.
I now need to urgently raise 2,500 euros for delivery of transplant, because
our family does not have this much money, and we only have a week to find the
money!
We know there are good people and we hope that they will help us! Thank you
very much in advance for responding to my plea for help.
