Hello, my name is Aladdin Mekhraly ogly Gasanov. I have group I disability status.
I was born on August 30, 1956. On May 14, 1996 I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's
lymphoma, stage IIIb. I was on treatment at Central Research Institute for
Roentgenoradiology for two years. In December 2008 I was examined at Russian
Science Center of Radiology and Surgical Technologies and diagnosed with
lymphoma of marginal zone with spread to nasopharynx. I was treated there too.
On December 14, 2009 I was hospitalized at Almazov Federal Center of Heart, Blood
and Endocrinology for treatment. The clinic referred me to Kashkin Institute
of Medical Mycology. There in January 2010 I was diagnosed with likely invasive
aspergillosis of lungs. The concurrent diagnosis was non-Hodgkin's lymphoma
of marginal zone MALT type, stage IIIb, with spread to jugular and supraclavicular
lymph nodes, nosopharynx, and bone marrow since 1996.
I am currently on treatment and I need Vfend. The hospitals cannot provide
me with this drug, and I am asking you for help. I am retired and cannot
afford to buy this expensive medication myself.

Update as of August 4, 2010.
Alladin was taken to Therapy Unit of State Medical University with fever.
Its nature is being investigated. He is in remission in regards to lymphoma.
Mycology tests showed improvement. The fever is most likely caused by
bacterial infection. Alladin still needs to take Vfend.
Update as of October 6, 2010.
Unfortunately we were not able to contact the patient for over a month;
he is not coming to get Vfend, does not answer calls and does not come to
appointments with a treating hematologist. We are stopping a donation collection
for Alladin Gasanov treatment.
